3.   It's a pity that Faujis are more concerned about Paramilitary wearing combat outfit and parliamentary  bearers wearing 'General's Peak Caps', but not noticing rest of the shit hitting the fan.

4.  Sam was the last true general, after that Sinha had some guts, but today, majority  are barking or hunting hounds, even to the extent of becoming 'Hilarious Bottoms'   hunting each other down to please their 'Political Tops;.

5.   As far as the issue of Pride is concerned, well it was needed during the 18th and 19th century wars, but today pride has been replaced with, 'Absolute Analytical Intelligence',  or else with sycophancy and compliance alone, which comes more easily to the majority of folks.

6.   In any case, what is a Fauji or a Paramilitary guy supposed to do, other than to bark and bite dutifully at the door of his master !?

7.  So the tragedy is not just that every time  faujis end up getting  'Cut your Smile & Shub your Pride Up your *ottom' treatment, from their immediate supervisors,  but the real tragedy is that today the 'Masters of Hounds' have no 'Class' at all.

8.   Faujis and bureaucrats  are selected  as highly pedigreed hounds, with certain inherent qualities of mind, ken, cognition, standards of learning, behavioral skills and what not,   but only selected  to end up being ruled by street-smart  mongrels or coloured blue jackal politicians, who are always busy in telling a German Shepherd or a Fila Brasileiro, that not you, but we are in charge.

9.  Like Churchill had said, India will be ruled by thugs and thieves.... So it is happening.

10.  Generals are busy taking municipal councilor standard politicians for joy rides in their flying machines, and preserving the soiled diapers of these bastards as trophies.

🚩लीला पिपासु भारत वर्ष को अभी और कुछ लीलाएं देखनी है🚩©✒GBG⚔

1.  राम लीला या कृष्ण लीला का स्टेज पे मंचन,  इतिहास  मिथिहास, तथा  मानव कल्यान हेतु कहे गए दो  शिक्षा प्रद कथा सूत्रों का अभिनय द्वारा प्रसारण है।

2  राम और कृष्ण इन ग्रन्थों के महानायक हैं,  और उन के अभिनय करने वाले और अन्य पात्रों के द्वारा स्टेज पे कथा का प्रस्तुतिकरण,  इन विशेष ग्रन्थों की कथा को आम-जन के जहन में ज़िंदा रखने का,  और इन की शिक्षा प्रद कहानियों को ताज़ा रखने का साधन है।

3.  इस सब से फायदा और नुकसान दोनों हुए। फायदा तो यह हुआ, कि सुंदर,  शिक्षा सरलतम रूप से आम आदमी तक पहुंची, लेकिन नुकसान भी हुआ। नुकसान यह हुआ कि भारत के आम लोग केवल 'नायक भक्त' बन कर रह गए, और नायक का प्रतिबिंब, नायक से भी बड़ा बन गया, और इस तरह शिक्षा प्रधान बनने कि जगह भारत भक्ती प्रधान  समाज बन गया।

4.  इस भक्ती प्रधान मानसिकता का फायदा, हमारे राजनेताओं ने खूब उठाया। वह मर्यादा पुरूषोतम तो कभी थे ही नहीं, लेकिन लीला पुरूषोतम बनने में उन्हें ने कोई कसर कोर नहीं छोड़ी। यानी इमेज मैनेजमैंट और ड्रामेबाजी का कुचक्र चल निकला।

5.  इस के चलते सभी नेताओं ने अपनी अपनी पब्लिसिटी टीम्स को काम पे लगा दिया। नेहरू लीला में, नेहरू जी देश के भाग्य विधाता और बालजगत के चाचा के रूप में अवतरित हुए । कभी बच्चों के साथ, कभी विश्व विख्यात लीडर, कभी भारत निर्माता के रूप में जवाहर लीला बहुत चली। जहां जाना वहां की टोपी शोपी पहन कर, पगड़ी, हेलमेट, सींग, पंख,  टोकरी,  इत्यादि पहन कर  लीला प्रस्तुत करने का  सर्वप्रथम श्रेय इन्हीं महानुभाव को जाता है।

6. मृत्यु से पहले महात्मा और बापू का इमेज गांधी जी को ऐसा मिला,  कि उन  की मृत्यु के बाद भी गांधी जी की गांधी लीला को खूब भुनाया गया।  उन की चरखा लीला और गांधी टोपी, ऐनक, बकरी,  और भी बाकी बहुत कुछ इस लीला के हिस्से पुर्जे बने रहे।

7. फिर   इंदिरा लीला, का समय आया। लौह इस्त्री से दुर्गा तक, सभी संज्ञाओं से  मैडम को नवाजा  गया। जहां जाना,  वहां की टोपी शोपी पहन कर, पगड़ी, हेलमेट, सींग, पंख,  टोकरी,  इत्यादि पहन कर  लीला प्रस्तुत करने का  प्रचलन नेहरू के बाद सुश्री ने जारी रखा। इंदिरा जी से पहले  शास्त्री जी  आए, वह सरल पुरुष थे, कर्मठ थे, और उन्हें  बिंबो और प्रतिबिंबों के सहारे महानायक बनने का शौक बिल्कुल नहीं था, यानी वह खुद कर्मो के धनी थे।

7.  इंदिरा जी के बाद तो लीलाओं का मेला ही लग गया।  संजय गांधी लीला, इमरजेंसी लीला, सोनिआ लीला , देहली 84 लीला , गुजरात 2002 लीला, मनमोहन की मौन लीला, पप्पू लीला , गप्पू लीला, और लीला ही लीला। यहां तक कि धरना प्रदर्शन लीला भी बहुत चली। मुझे याद है,  हेमा मालिनी, सुषमा स्वराज, स्मृति ईरानी इत्यादि कभी रसोई गैस के सिलेंडर  ले कर, कभी बरतन ले कर, यहां तक  सब्ज़ियों के हार गले में डाल कर प्रदर्शन लीला करने  गलियों में उतरी थीं।

8.   धीरे धीरे नेताओं की लीलाएं मायावी होती गईं। 3-डी का ज़माना, और मोदी की वर्चुअल रैली इत्यादि इत्यादि का दौर आया। मोदी जी भी लीला पुरूषोतम तो पक्के हैं। नेहरू और इंदिरा की तरह विशेष वस्त्र धारी तो हैं ही, विशेष प्रायोजित कार्यक्रम चलाने के भी एक्सपर्ट हैं, जैसे कि मन की बात,  चाय पे चर्चा इत्यादि। फिर कर डाली अचानक ही 15 लाख धन वापसी लीला, नोट बन्दी लीला,  शौचालय लीला,  पकोड़ा लीला, पुलवामा का दुखांत,  फिर बालाकोट में टना टन  लीला,  कहीं शहीदों की तस्वीरों का प्रयोग, कहीं पाकिस्तान पे हवाई हमले की चर्चा ऐसे, कि जैसे अभिनन्दन नहीं, चचा खुद उड़ने वाले स्कूटर से गए, और पाकिस्तान में हथगोले फेंक कर इस्लामाबाद को ही ध्वस्त करके आए हों,  और फ़िर इन सब का पल्ला फैला कर वोटों की मांग। जिधर देखो , लीला ही लीला, यानी नेता करे तो नीतिलीला,  जनता करे तो करेक्टर ढीला।

9.  लीला प्रधान मुल्क है भारत। यानी नौटंकी का शौक़ीन। लेकिन एक लीला अभी बाकी है, ........ और वो है रूद्र लीला। जब रूद्र लीला शुरू हो गी और भारत की प्यासी महा रणचण्डिका काली रूप में  पुनः देशभक्तों से लहू का प्रसाद मांगे गी .... तब होगी  असली लीला, उस में न नए नए कपड़े पहन कर सेल्फी खींचने वाले दिखें  गे, न सब्जियां गले में डाल कर नाचने वाली, ना ट्रैक्टर पे फोटो खिंचवा कर चुनाव प्रचार आरंभने वाली कोई अभिनेत्री। केवल सैनिक दिखें गे,  किसी नेता के सैनिक नहीं, केवल देश के  सैनिक, असली गौरवमयी नवभारत निर्माण के सैनिक, जो खुशी खुशी देश के लिए जान दें गे भी, और जान लेंगे।भी। तब ही गतिमान होगी भारत भूमि,  स्थाई प्रगति और शान्ति की राह पर।

1. Quite recently as the Canadian Prime Minister and Defense Minister were visiting India, the issue of Khalistan suddenly caught the headlines once again, as also the issue was deliberately flared up, to raise some bogey calls, for a false witch hunt.

2.  I was suddenly reminded of the Raj days, when to please the rulers that be, when ever a raj dignitary visited an Indian state, a tiger hunt would be organised. In case there were no tigers in the local jungle, an old tiger would be trapped from a far off place, encaged and put up in a place in the local jungle, and then a hunt would be organised. In plain words, the aim was to build excitement around the tiger hunt, and thus divert the attention of one and all, from real issues.

3.  In Punjab, the Khalistan issue today,  is like a non existent tiger, which is some how made to come alive, as and when required by the politicians.

4.  There are demons of drugs, unemployment,  farmer loans, farmer suicides and cancer, which  need more attention and energy, than bringing alive the ghost of Khalistan, and doing the nautanki of tackling it.

5.  Canadians came calling on India. So what, if the delegation had as its part, a very powerful Canadian Sikh presence, in form of Canada's Defense minister and many other Canadians, with  sikh  or hindu Indian roots?

6.  The fact is that they came, visiting India as Canadians, and being Sikhs their sentimental attachment with Golden temple, is quite natural.

7.  The Indian intelligence setup, and their political bosses, built up a false fire for no rhyme or reason, stalling regular diplomacy in the process. Undoubtedly the Indian state could have shown more maturity in dealing with the Canadians.

8.  In terms of a bogey call for an independent Punjab, let us for once and for all understand  that the true sikh dominance of punjab, ended a long time back in history. 

9.  Today even in a shrunken Punjabi Suba, in the last term the Akalis could not form a government without going in with an alliance with BJP, and in the recent one the Akalis representing Sikhs in alliance with Hindu BJP, lost to the secular congress, and AAP parties. This speaks volumes on how the demography of punjab sits today.

10.  Thus  we  must realistically see that, a Sikh Punjab, as it was historically,   is today,  a dissolved reality.

11.  A lot of water has flown under the bridges of the five rivers, since Ranjit Singh's Raj.

12.  Pepsu got reduced, and then an already shrunk Punjab, was further shrunk as a result of a irrational demand for a Punjabi suba.

13.  AS a result, Himachal and Harayana became independent of a larger punjab, rather than Punjab becoming independent of the Indian Federation.

14.  In brief, a huge state of the Indian Union, got shrunk in to a pygmy little entity.

15.  Then once again,  the whole drama of independence for sikhs was enacted, by state sponsored actors leading a troupe of half educated or uneducated emotional fools.

16.  The drama was played out, with its murderous music, with many acts full of murders of innocents, pulled out of roadways buses, followed by brutality of extra judicial killings by black cats, labourer blood bath around SYL,  and much more,  culminating in bloody Op Blue Star and even bloodier Op Black thunder.

17. All this and more tragic things were experienced, during that black period. Murder of Finance minister, Sirdard Balwant Singh, murder of Mr. Sekri, Chief engineer SYL, and Sirdard A.S. Aulakh, the deputy Chief of SYL, and killing of numberless youth as a result of kharkoovaad and counter police action , ultimately proved a great loss to Punjab and Punjabiyaat at large, and sikhs in particular.

18.  Then we can not forget that the biggest cause of downfall of the Sikhs has always been the Sikhs themselves. Satguru Nanak's true way has never truly been followed.

19. This is clear from the fact that today, the Mazhabi Sikhs, the Ramdasiyaas, the Jatt Sikhs, the Ramgarhiyaas, and so many others are so divided amongst themselves that they have different community based gurudwaras in the same village.
Forget the Sahajdharis, they are not even allowed to vote for SGPC elections.

20.  So my question is, that where is a Sikh Punjab? Sorry honourable friends, such an entity stands long since dissolved, sadly so although.

21.  Let me verily proclaim that the only possibility of a K State is after the 3rd WW, if at all any such struggle takes place, which only the Akaal can see or say. People like me wish that no such war ever takes place, and that the progressive spirit of science, should now takeover the unscientific, emotional , faith based,  belief and passion driven spirit of any and all religions.

22.  Some people even talk of a referendum, and some of an armed struggle. Both these are incorrect paths. 

23.  Referendum is not possible in India or other similar politico-socio spaces, because it is just not practical. People are emotional fools, who do not understand the ground realities.

24. Where the masses are unable to choose a good leader for them selves, what will be the result of a referendum ? Certainly a destructive and unrealistic one.

25. The way of the armed rebellion is only possible in a given time and space, which is neither seen in near future, nor advisable by any standards of sanity.

26. Even if  a nation like KS comes up, who will run it, what laws will they follow ? Suddenly one odd lobby would ask all women to cover their heads, or only wear long hair and beard,  and so forth and so on.

27.  All  talk on KS is nothing but an effort to shake the Indian Apple cart, and let me assure you, all this could be very counter productive for Sikhs.

28. So, in this complete irrational tamasha being politically built up to fool the world, the Sikhs, the punjabis and the Indian nation, I only see drama loaded with  some comedy but loads of tragedy.

29.  Although I have another path to offer aswell, a path of peace and progress.

30.  In my humble but very considered opinion, the Sikhs should work towards emerging, as an international cosmopolitan community, which is more focussed on overall wellness of the progressive humanity, rather than being interested in controlling a small territory, to call their own.

31.  Sikhs must develop an outlook where they belong to the whole big world, and the world belongs to them.

32.  In my well considered opinion, Sikhs are an extremly progressive and adaptive community, respectful and sensitive to different cultures, and in light of it they must focus on their universalism to grow and cherish.

33.  Today,  A sikh being the army chief of Singapore, a sikh being a Malaysian police chief of Jails, a sikh being Defense Minister of Canada, a sikh being a Mayor in America, a Sikh having been india's President, a Prime minister and Indian army chief are much bigger acheivements, than some Tota singh,  Maina Kaur, or a Langham Singham being ministers in Punjab.

34. Going by all this, Khalistan is too narrow a demand in today's Sikh Perspective.

35.  Rather than drumming up a call for Khalistan, the Sikhs should drum up a call for being made world citizens and continue to move forward as international world contributors, builders, warriors and leaders.

36.  With the sikh philosophy of universal brotherhood and their undying zeal for serving humanity, Sikhs should in today's context be working for and fighting for wold peace, and the whole world shall be theirs, and they shall thus belong to the whole world.

भारत में आज़ादी की लड़ाई को बहुत से कम-अक्ल लोग केवल तीन नामों में समा कर अपना फ़र्ज़ मुक़्क़मल हुआ समझते हैं। यानी गांधी नेहरू और सुभाष।

वह नहीं जानते की इस जंग में कितने ही गुमनाम गांधी और आज़ाद, न बापू कहलाये, न चाचा और न  शहीद, लेकिन इस जंग में गर्क हो गए। 

इन में बलिया जैसा गुमनाम शहर, जिस ने 1942 में ख़ुद को आज़ाद घोषित कर दिया, और गुजरात के आदिवासियों के गुरु बलवन्त जैसे गुरिल्ला योद्धा भी शामिल हैं।

ख़ैर, जो भी हो, बात को अफ़साना न बनाते हुए, मुख्तसिर कहूँ, तो हुआ यह  की आज़ादी के बाद की क़यादत में, प्लूटोक्रेटस का एक नया धड़ा भारत पे काबिज़ हो गया, जो ख़ुद को कहते तो सोशिलिस्ट थे, लेकिन थे पूंजीवादी और सरमायेदार परस्त, यानि संक्षेप में कहूँ तो प्लूटोक्रेट।

  

आज़ादी के ख़ास बाद, सत्ता पर काबिज़ हुए सत्ताधारी दल का कोई ख़ास प्रतिद्वन्धी न होते हुए, हालात कुछ ऐसे हो गए, जैसे की बिना विलियन की हिंदी फ़िल्म। भाई, यदी हीरो के पास कोई लड़ने भिड़ने के लिए ही नहीं है, तो फ़िल्म कैसी, कितनी देर आज़ादी की हीरोइन को ले कर बाग़ों की सैर करते रहें गे।

सो अब विल्लीअन्न पैदा करने का मसला था, सो  उन्हों ने अपना कट्टड़ दुश्मन,  एक  सम्पूर्ण दाँयेबाज़ू पूंजीवादी ग्रुप, यानी संघ में ढून्ढ निकाला, जिस के साथ अंग्रेजों की सेवा कर के मेवा खाने का कम्पीटीशन आज़ादी से भी पहले से खादीधारियों का चल रहा था।  यानि  इस तरहं किश्ती टोपी वाला बन गया हीरो, और ख़ाकी निक्कर वाला बन नया विल्लियन, या बना दिया गया कहिये तो ज्यादा अपवाद न हो गा।

ऐसा नहीं की संघ कोई अच्छे काम नहीं करता था, सन्घ के बहुत लोग सच्चे मन से समाज सेवा के काम में जुड़ते थे, लेकिन दो बातें थी, जिस के चलते सन्घ को खलनायक के रंग में रँगना आसान हुआ। वह थीं, एक तो यह कि संघ एक हिन्दूवादी ग्रुप था,  जो मुस्लिम अकलियतों को उतना भारतीय नहीं मानता, जितना खुद को, और दूसरा यह की उस के नेताओं की शीर्ष ज़ुण्डली का ध्येय भी आखिर, सत्ता प्राप्ति ही था, जिस के चलते आम संघी तो चाहे ख़ुद को वतन परस्त समझते थे, लेकिन संघ के बड़े घाग घोगे नेता, गाय, मन्दिर-मस्जिद और दंगो की राजनीती में ख़ास दिलचस्पी रखते थे।

इस के चलते, नई  खादीधारी राजा बनी जुण्डली ने,   ख़ुद पूंजीवादी होते हुए भी,  अपने पूंजीवादी संघी रक़ीबों को न सिर्फ खलनायक की भूमिका में उतारा, बल्कि उन्हें खलनायकी का सारा साजो सामन भी इक्कठा करने दिया। उन्हें डण्डा कुल्हाड़ी से ले कर कट्टा रिवाल्वर और बन्दूक तक, सब जोड़ने दिया गया।  सत्ता धारियों को लगता था की ऐसा खलनायक उन के ड्रामे को साल दर साल, एक हिट शो बनाता चला जाये गा।

 लेकिन यहां एक ज़बरदस्त मोड़ आया। खुद बुरे न बनने के चक्कर में, संघ का  तोड़,  सत्ताधारियों ने बाएं बाज़ू तंज़ीमों को बढ़त दे कर वामपन्थियों में ढूंडा और स्थापित भी किया।

यह कुछ ऐसा था, की फ़िल्म में किसी साइड हीरो को स्क्रिप्ट में जगह दी जाए, जो हीरो के लिये विल्लियन से सीधा पंगा ले सके।

वाम सोच का प्रचार धड़ले से होने दिया जाने लगा। रूस से दोस्ती के चलते, रुसी किताबें, धड़ले से बिकने लगी, नौसिखियों युवाओं को इस सब में एक एडवेंचर, एक हंगामाखेज़ महफ़िल नज़र आई, जिस के चलते बाम पंथी होना, न सिर्फ एक फैशन बन गया, बल्कि सरकारी या गैर सरकारी दहशतगर्दी का, गडीरा भी बन गया,  जो सन्घ की सम्भावित दादागिरी  का एक अचूक तोड़ समझा जाने लगा।

बामपंथी लौंडे लौंडियाँ लाल कुरतों और काले चुस्त पजामों में कालेजों  यूनिवर्सिटियों में दिखने आम हो गए। कहानी में रंग भरने लगा। नतीजा यह की SFA के मुकाबले पे उभरे  ABVP जैसे छात्र सन्घ इस खेल के मोहरे बन कर आपस में सीधे टकराव पे उतर आये। फ़िर NSUI, जैसे युवा दल आकाश पे चढ़ाये गए, और अन्ततः हुआ यह की लालू, मुलायम, बादल, ममता, जया, माया, और यहां तक की कुछ छुटकल दलों या नेताओं ने भी अपने-अपने छात्र संघ बना डाले।

युनिवर्सिटियों में अब पढ़ाई की जगह राजनीती ज्यादा होने लगी, जिस के चलते छात्रों की पढ़ाई लिखाई की तो वाट लग गयी, लेकिन राजनेताओं की चांदी हो गयी। 

अब स्टेज पे ड्रामा गर्मा गया, कहीं कुछ, तो कहीं कुछ होने लगा। श्रोता और ड्रामा देखने वाले, एक्साइट हो गये, अपने अपने कच्छो के नाड़े कस के बाँध लिए, कुर्सियों पे पैर रख लिए, और शो के मज़े लेने लगे।

देश के असली मुद्दों से जन्ता का ध्यान हट गया और   अखबारों की सुर्ख़ियों में बट गया, जो खुद भी विज्ञापन बेचने के चक्कर में रोज़ नए हंगामों की खबरें ढून्ढ ढून्ढ कर छापने लगे, या खुद ही, हंगामे ईज़ाद भी करने लगे।

कई बार तो ऐसा भी हुआ की ख़बर छप गयी, लेकिन बम्ब नहीं फटा, तो अखबारों ने अपने गुंडे भेज कर कोई पटाखा चला दिया। यानी पत्रकारिता के पैमाने बदल गए, अब जो जितनी हंगामाख़ेज़ खबर जितने हंगामाख़ेज़ तरीके से छापता, या पढ़ता, वह उतना ही बड़ा पत्रकार बन गया।

ख़ैर फिर उस के बाद तो पत्रकारिता बिकने ही लगी, यानी पत्रकारिता केवल लाहौर की हीरा मंडी बन कर रह गई, जहां भद्दी बूढी रण्डियाँ भी, मेकअप की परतों में और चकाचौन्ध रौशनी में फ़िरदौस की हूरें नज़र आती हैं। छोड़िये, यह बात फ़िर सही, चलिये राजनीती की ओर वापिस चलें।

अब आज़ाद भारत की स्टूडेंट राजनीती नए सिरे से गर्म हो गयी।  अँगरेज़ के चले जाने के बाद, विद्यार्थी वर्ग के लड़के लड़कियां,  जो किसी राजनितिक रोष करने के अवसरों से तकरीबन ख़ाली थे, अब दायें बाज़ू सन्घ और बाएं बाजू कम्मुनिस्टों के, दलितों के, राजपूतों, जाटों के, सिक्खों के, मुसलमानों के संघर्ष स्तम्भ बन गए, और नेताओं को खेलने के लिए, बढ़िया नए खिलौने मिल गए।

 चलिये नये आज़ाद हुए सत्ताधारियों की तरफ चलें और कहानी को वहीं से आगे बढ़ाएं। जब संघी  और कामरेड आज़ादी से विचरने लगे, तो खादी मार्का लोगों ने एक नया रोमांटिक विल्लियन मैदान में लाने की सोची।

 यानी अब सफेदपोश चोर,  चम्बल के डाकुओं में, दलित सेना में, ठाकुर सेना, रणबीर सेना इत्यादी में नए यूज़ेबल और डिस्पोज़ेबल  राजनितिक मोहरे ढूंढने की क़वायद में जुट गये। 

ऐसी बहुत सी फ़िल्में डाकुओं या बागियों को हीरो बना कर बनाई गयी, जिस के चलते, डाकुओं को , सोशिलिस्ट बागियों   और माओवादियों को, हिंदी फिल्मों ने बेवजह ग्लोरीफाई किया , और इन छवियों को  ख़ास तौर पे जन-मानस के दिमागों पर अंकित किया।

सरकार के पास भी अब नए हथियार आ गए, यानी किसी को भी अंदर करने के लिए, उस के थैले में कोई कार्लमार्क्स का पर्चा किसी भी जेबकतरे से रखवा दो, और फिर उसे धर दबोचो।  या फ़िर किसी डाकू को पहले राजनितिक संरक्षण दे कर कुख्यात बनाओ, फ़िर उसे एनकाउंटर में मार गिराओ, और वाह-वाही लूटो, और या फ़िर उस से सरन्डर करवा कर, राजनीती में घुसेड़ दो, और जन्ता के वोट लूटो।

यानी आज़ाद भारत में बाग़ी, या रिबेल होने का मतलब हो गया, किसी राजनितिक दल द्वारा संरक्षित डकैती या आतंकवादी संगठन में शामिल होना, कुछ बदनाम नाम  कमाना, और फ़िर मारे जा कर हीरो बनना, या नेता के कुत्ते बन कर मंत्री बनना।

इस के चलते, कम्युनिस्ट या मार्क्सवादी होना, या फ़िर फ़ासीवादी जेहादी या चरमपंथी होना,  कालेज यूनिवर्सिटी के तालिबानों में एक फैड सा बन गया, इक किस्म का स्वैग,  जो अब भी है, और  सारे फ़सादों की अम्मा है।   

यानी किसी भी किस्म की चरमपंथी की कदम बोसी करना, फॉरवर्ड लुकिंग होना या इंटेलेक्टूअल होना हो गया, और सरकार के लिये,  किसी को भी धर दबोचने का, एक  आसान सा हथियार भी बन गया।

इस सब को इंटेलेक्टूयल और फ्री पॉलिटिक्स के नवजागरण का नाम दिया गया, जब की दरअसल कुल मिला कर यह सब, सिवाये ज़हनी फ़रेब के और कुछ,  ना है,  न था, और न होगा।

इस फ़रेब के चलते भारत पर केकिटोक्रेसी (अनपढ़ गवारों का राज), क्लिप्टोक्रेसी (चोर उचक्कों का राज), और टाईकूनोकरेसी/प्लूटोक्रेसी (अती धनाढ्यों का राज) कायम हो गया।

भारत का भविष्य, न तो पूंजीवाद में छिपा है, और न ही मार्क्सवाद या माओवाद में।

भारत को नकली लोकतन्त्र या जनतन्त्र को छोड़ कर 'डीमार्कि' नामक व्यवस्था  को अपनाना चाहिए।

ऐसा इस लिए कि,  चाहे दायेंबाज़ू सोच हो या बाएं बाज़ू सोच, दोनों ही अन्ततः लम्बे अरसों के लिये सत्ता,  ओलिगारकी के, यानी कुछ गिने चुने लोगों के ग्रुप, पार्टी, या परिवार के हवाले कर देते हैं। 

 यानी मौजूदा व्यवस्था,  बहुत से लोगों पर,  इस या फ़िर उस ग्रुप का, पार्टी का  अथवा इस या उस परिवार का बर्चस्व स्थापित करने का ज़रिया मात्र है , यानी मौजूदा व्यवस्था, बहुत से लोगों पर कुछ ख़ास लोगों का राज कायम करने का इंस्ट्रूमेंट मात्र  है।

इस व्यवस्था का तोड़ है डीमार्कि।
अब आप कहें गे कि यह डीमार्कि क्या बला है ?

डीमार्कि को समझने के दो सरल नुक्ते हैं। पहली बात तो यह  कि, डीमार्कि में कोई इलेक्शन वगैरा नहीं होते, क्यों की  इलेक्शन, सारे भ्र्ष्टाचार की जड़ है।

इलेक्शन ही के चलते सारा झूठा प्रचार, जुमलों का व्यपार, वोटों की ख़रीद फरोख्त का व्यपार, चुने हुए नुमाइंदों की ख़रीद फरोख्त का व्यपार, वोटिंग मशीनों में गड़बड़ी तथा कई और किस्म का भृष्टाचार होता है। और दूसरा डीमार्कि में क़ाबिल लोगों के पूल में से,  लॉटरी निकालने के तरीके से अधिकारी या नेता चुन लिया जाता है। किसी को न तो कोई गिलाशिक्वा ही रहता है, और न ही मैनीपुलेशन का ही कोई अंदेशा। 

डीमार्कि एक सरल सा सिस्टम है।

पहले हर पदवी के लिये, चाहे वह मंत्री हो या सन्तरी, सेवक हो या प्रधान सेवक, एक निर्धारित योग्यता का निर्णय कर लिया जाये। यह योग्यता, उम्र, शिक्षा, तजरुबा, सेहत और ज़ीरो क्रिमिनल रेकॉर्ड जैसे मानकों पर तय हो गी।

जाहिर है यदी यह होता है, तो कोई चोर उच्चका या अपराधी  होना तो, चपरासी के लिए भी उपयुक्त निर्धारित मापदण्ड नहीं हो गा।

दूसरा, यह की फिर इन स्थानों के लिये जनसाधारण से आवेदन मांगे जायें, और फ़िर पास हुए आवेदकों के नामों की लॉटरी निकाल ली जाये, और फिर 4 या 5 साल के लिए इन लोगों को सरकार चलाने का मौका दिया जाये। उपरान्त निर्धारित अवधी के,  फ़िर इस क्रिया को दोहराना चाहिये। 

यह कोई नया कॉन्सेप्ट नहीं, बल्कि एथनस और अन्य स्थानों पर आज़माया हुआ कॉन्सेप्ट है, और हर जगह कामयाब सिद्ध हुआ है, चाहे मामला देश की सरकार चुनने का हो या किसी शहर की म्युनिसिपल कॉन्सल चुनने का।

मान लीजिये देश को सेहत मंत्री चाहिए, तो योग्यता हो, कम से कम एमडी तक की पढ़ाई, और न्यूनतम दस साल का डाक्टरी प्रैक्टिस का तज़ुर्बा, जिस में 5 साल सरकारी नौकरी ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में हो। अब भारत जैसे विशाल देश में कम से कम 10, 20 हज़ार योग्य व्यक्ति तो निकल ही आएं गे। डालो सब के नाम ड्रम में और घुमा दो। पहले 100 पर्चियां निकालो। फ़िर 100 में से 25, और फिर 25 में से एक, और इस तरहं देश को बिना इलेक्शन का खर्चा किये, एक असल में, योग्य सेहत मंत्री मिल जाये गा।

सभी मंत्रालय, चाहे रक्षा मंत्री हो या शिक्षा मंत्री,  पहले, योग्यता, के दम पर अपना नाम पेश करें गे,  और फ़िर योग्यता प्राप्त लोगों के नामों को लॉटरी की तरहं, चान्स द्वारा चुन लिया जाए गा।

सभी उम्मीदवारों की उम्र कम से कम 40 साल और ज्यादा से ज्यादा 65  साल हो, कोई क्रिमिनल,  चीटिंग या फ्रॉड का केस ना हो, बाकी ज्ञान विज्ञान की योग्यता अपने विभाग के अनुसार हो।

यानी कोई शिक्षा मंत्री बनना चाहे, तो कम से  कम पीएचडी की डिग्री, 10 साल का शिक्षण अनुभव, जिस में कम से कम 5 साल की सेवा किसी ग्रामीण इलाके में हो, रक्षा मंत्री के लिये, 10 साल की सैनिक सेवा, और रक्षा विज्ञान में कम से कम एमए, इत्यादि इत्यादि। 

मेरा दावा है की हर एक पद के लिए 140 करोड़ लोगों के मुल्क में कम से कम 10,000 हर तरहं से योग्य लोगों का नामांकन होना अत्यंत सरल सी बात हो गी। जब लोगों में से सब से योग्य लोग सरकार बनाएं गे, वह भी किसी राजनितिक तोड़जोड़ के बिना, तो भृष्टाचार मुक्त, योग्य सरकार देश को मिले गी ही मिले गी।

इसे किसी दीवाने का स्वपन न समझिये, यह एक कारगर, भृष्टाचार रहित, क़ाबिल और सुचारु व्यवस्था, किसी भी छोटे या बड़े मुल्क को देने का, अत्यंत सरल और असरदार तरीका है। न रहे गी राजनीती की गन्दगी, न भ्र्ष्टाचार, न झूठ का गरम बाजार।

बस कोई देशभग्त नेता फ़िलहाल ऐसा मिल जाये जो इस कॉन्सेप्ट को समझ ले, और संवैधानिक तौर पे लागू कर दे।

 हाँ सिर्फ राष्ट्रपति ही एक पद हो गा, जिस के लिए कोई भी आवेदन दे कर, पद के लिए जन्ता द्वारा चुना जाये। यानी, कोई  MLA, MP, या म्युनिसिपेलिटी का चुनाव नहीं, केवल एक चुनाव, और वह केवल राष्ट्रपती का।

राष्ट्रपती, का काम हो गा यह देखना, की कोई भी योग्य अधिकारी, कर्मक्षेत्र में अयोग्य पाया जाये, तो उस को बर्खास्त किया जाये। छोटे से लेख में इस से ज्यादा लिखना सम्भव नहीं। 

मेरे विचार से  या तो वह लोग इस विचार से असहमत हों गे जो अत्यंत दाँयेबाज़ू या फिर अत्यंत बाएंबाज़ू सोच रखते हैं, और या वह, जो कोई सोच ही नहीं रखते।

 पहले दोनों प्रकार के लोग जब अत्ती पे आ जाएँ तो समाज और राष्ट्र के लिए अत्यंत घातक सिद्ध होते हैं, और तीसरी प्रकार, यानी अचिंतनशील व्यक्ति तो वैसे ही समाज के खप्तकार मात्र ही हुआ करते हैं।  

यही वह व्यवस्था परिवर्तन है, जिस का मैं अक्सर ज़िक्र करता हूँ।

The Sikhs are in news all over, and its good for the community. Sikhs are becoming a part of international governments, joining armies of many developed nations and rising to other important political and adminstrative  positions internationally, but as on one hand, the religion is evolving in its cosmopolitan avatar, the dark forces of superstition and irrational belief on the other hand, are refusing to wane in sikhism.

The real reason for this is that majority of Sikhs are moving away from the true path of 'Sikh Masters' and falling in to the traps, forbidden by Masters.

Greatest things about all Sikh Gurus is that they were against superstiouos beliefs, because they believed in and propagated Truth alone, which directly transfers to an intelligent, diligent, honest and bold lifestyle. An honest and Jujhaaru lifestyle.

Guru Nanak preached every thing that was rational alone. He had cticised the way of Chamtkari Sadhus and Yogis as falsehood and  superfluous. 

Gurus had also at the same time, preached against all Brahnimcal Karamkand and ritualistic  drama.

GURU Gobind Singh ji, the most beloved Sikh Guru strictly believed in 'Brave and Truthful Humans', and encouraged both the purity of action and intent.

The complete saga of Sikh Martyrdom from the 5th Guru to 10th master and his immediate family and loyal followers, carried forward by Baba Banda Singh Bahadur and his warriors,  is studded with one cardinal lesson, and that is,  that all evil in humanity has to be fought with Good Human Karma, not prayer or magic.

A truthful man, needs not to pray, but is ordained by Gurus, to  fight for and protect,  all that is held Nobel, in human society. 

All Gurus also stressed upon the institution of a commune. 

Community must struggle as a whole to strive for goodness, but the desire  of individuals to shine ahead of each other has forbidden many Sikhs to truly follow the true Path of Gurus. 

Although they do externally wear the marks of Sikhism, but as far as their lifestyle is concerned, they are very much driven by the market forces, and a very competitive model of linear progressin of pseudo growth, where all success is measured by the financial success of a person alone, achieved by hook or by crook.

Then there is the issue of irrational and illogical beliefs. 

Sikhism has no space for miracles. 

The only miracle Sikhism preaches is the miracle of human gritt and determinatiim and a collective  human effort.

All stories of Chamtkars or miracles are made up stuff, a lot during the British raj, to ensure that the flock increases, as they needed people, and all this was  promoted by the priestly class, to ensure a regular flow of  devoutees.

There are many examples to proove such false practices, that have now found place in Sikhism.

Let's start with Gurudwaras Pathar Sahib where a boulder is said to have been thrown on Guru Nanak Sahib by a Giant, but the boulder turned in to wax, inprinting Nanak's body print on it. Now the fact is, why did that stone made  wax by Guru Sahib become stone again? 

Why did Nanak allow the Giant to throw the rock on him in the first place? 

Guru ji could have frozen the Giant himself, rather than turning the Rock in to Wax, but may be the makers of this story thought it more convenient to build it this way.

Than, the Mecca incident. 

Undoubtedly A rationalist Philosopher like Satguru Nanak Sahib must have convinced a superstitious and staunch Muslim  priest to re-engineer his false beliefs. Guru Nanak ji must have convinced the narrow minded Mullah to understand the omnipresence of Allaah, but, that he moved the Kaaba all around, like a box of cardboard just to prove his point,  is absolutely a belief, based on a deliberate effort to kill the rational thought in Sikhism, and replace it by illogical beliefs.

Then we have the Panjaa sahib example, where, again Satguru stopped a huge boulder rolled down a hill by an 'Egoistic Spiritualist' to kill Nanak, as per this fable,  by extending his hand alone to stop the stone, and such was the impact of the boulder on the Guru's hand, that his hand got imprinted on it.

Now this is and never was the way of Nanak, because Nanak neither claimed nor wished to be a 'Spiderman or a Superman'.

  If he wanted to stop the stone thus, he could easily have turned it in to thin air ! Why did he let it roll down till it was right next to him. Sounds funny.

Than a story doing the rounds is that in the battle of Chamkaur, 130,000 professional mughal army soldiers were killed by just about 42 Sikhs. 

 Going by this,  each Sikh must have killed, atleast 3250 mughals in a single night, with weapons like swords, clubs and axes alone.  That means in a battle lasting about 6 hours, (360 minutes,) every Sikh soldier should have killed almost 9 mughals per minute.  This looks far fetched.

The truth is that in this battle, the Sikhs had decided, that Guru Gobind Singh Sahib must leave the battle, and escape, so as the mission continues.

Sikhs fought this battle extremely well, and attained martyrdom. 

In my opinion, they must have gone in for multiple   suicide  commando missions, and killed quite a few mughals, as their, this strategy ensured that the mughals stay engaged with them,  as Guru Ji is enabled to escape,  to organise and continue his rebellious struggle against oppression, and in the process, each Sikh may have killed more than a score of enemy soldiers. 

It was a great battle indeed, extremely well fought by Sikhs, but to present an exaggeration of it,  is not the way of great Sikhs.

Even if each Sikh is credited with 50 kills, the number of enemy soldiers killed could not be more than 2000, but to exaggerate this figure to I30,000 can only be termed as a work of  wild imagination or a poetic exaggeration.

The Sikhs always had, and still have a warrior persona, but they are and have proven to be having a strong mercenary streak aswell. That is why after the fall of Lahore Darbar, Sikhs fell in line with the Firangi, so fast and so well, and they fought for Firangi in 1857 Indian mutiny, against the Freedom fighter rebels, and in both world wars there after, they faught for the Gora.

What is of concern to Sikhism today, is the progression of 'Faith in Divine Miracles' and 'Degradation of faith in Human Values and Human vulnerability', and this is a direct result of  Brahnimcal values, focused not on Karam,  but Karam-kaand.

The tradition of offering Prasad, Rumalas money etc, or asking for boons and wish-fulfillment,  and thus turning the holy book in to a deitified demi-god is the greatest fall of Sikhism.

Guru Gobind Singh ji wanted his Sikhs to be Gyan-Yogis and Karam-Yogis alone, but they have taken to the way of 'Fake Bhakti Yoga', as a result of which the majority of Sikhs rather than reading SGGS ji, are praying to it and seeking boons or protection from it.

A true Sikh never Prays. He does not read the bani as a mantra, but reads it daily as instructions for life.

This difference must be understood by all educated and cosmopolitan Sikhs, or else this very modern and extremely scientific religion shall soon be taken over by the crooked priestly class, married to corrupt and exploitative political class in India and else where in the world,  to use  Sikhs as a vote bank, or mere boots on battle grounds alone.

If course correction is not executed,  the loss will be to sikhism and ordinary simple hearted Sikhs alone.

मंगोलों और ख़िलजी में सम्बन्ध @ ✒गुरु बलवन्त गुरुने⚔

कौन थे मंगोल, क्या था मंगोलों और ख़िलजी में सम्बन्ध@ ✒गुरु बलवन्त गुरुने⚔

©मंगोल, एक ऐसा नाम, जिस से किसी ज़माने में, क्या राजा और क्या आम जन, ऐसे घबराते थे जैसे की किसी प्लेग की बीमारी से, या किसान किसी टिड्डी दल के आक्रमण से घबराते हैं।

आख़िर ऐसा क्या था मंगोलों में।  सच्च कहूँ तो तीन चीज़ें थी, एक रफ़्तार, दूसरा ह्रदय व्हीनता, और तीसरा किसी ज़मीन पर काबिज़ होने की लालसा की जगह केवल लूट की भयंकर पिपासा।

यह कबाइली घुड़सवार योद्धा बड़ी रफ़्तार से अपने निश्चित निशाने पर हमला बोलते, जो भी लूटना चाहते लूट लेते, और उपरांत उस के बहुत निर्दयता से सभी बकाया जीवित इंसानों को, बच्चों को, बूढ़ों को, बीमारों को, यहां तक की कुत्ते बिल्लियों तक को भी मौत के घाट उतार देते।

इन की निर्ममता इतने पर ही समाप्त न होती, बल्कि यह सभी पुस्तकालयों, धर्म स्थलों और गोदामों को, महलों और घरों को, झोंपड़ियों और खेतों को आग लगा देते, और आलम यह होता की कम से कम एक सदी तक निर्दयी मंगोलों की विनाश लीला के निशान, इन द्वारा बर्बाद किये हुए स्थानों पर दिखते रहते।

मैं यहाँ ही स्पष्ट कर दूँ की माँगोलों को मुसलमान कहना या समझना एक बहुत बड़ी गलती है। इन का इस्लाम से पहले पहल दूर दूर का भी सम्बन्ध नहीं था।

यह लोग कुछ-कुछ बुद्ध धर्म, कुदरत परस्ती, रूह परस्ती और कबाइली धर्म और टेंगरिज़्म के अनुयायी थे। 

ख़ान शब्द इन के साथ इस लिए नहीं जुड़ा की यह मुसलमान थे बल्कि ख़ान का मतलब होता है राजा, और खन्नात किसी खान के राज्य को कहते हैं।

यह अलग बात है की बाद में मंगोलों ने इस्लाम धर्म से प्रेरित हो कर इस का अनुग्रह कर लिया, लेकिन याद रहे, कि 1200 के दशकों में  बग़दाद की सल्तनत, और बाकी इस्लामिक इलाकों को पूरी तरहं बर्बाद करने वाले मंगोल ही थे।

यहां तक की इस्लामी सभ्यता के सुनहरे युग का अंत मंगोल तीरों और तलवारों और इन ही की घोड़ों की टापों ने किया।

आइये अब मंगोल वंश के बारे कुछ जान लें।

मंगोल कबीले तो पहले से ही कायम थे, लेकिन मंगोल राज्यवंश की स्थापना 1206 में तब हुई, जब मंगोल कबीलों के कई सरदारों ने 44 वर्षीय तैमूजिन को अपना मुख्य मुखिया चुना, और उसे चंगेज़ ख़ान की उपाधी दे दी।

चगेज़ का अर्थ है, महान बलशाली बलवन्त, और ख़ान का अर्थ है राजा।  तेमुजिन अब मंगोलों का महान बलशाली राजा घोषित हो गया।

भारतीय उप महादीप और  परसिया, चीन, रूस, सभी को इन्होंने  निशाने पे लिया, और किसी भी धार्मिक भेद भाव के बिना, या मज़ाक में कहें तो एकदम सेकुलर दृष्टि से जिधर भी देखा, लूट और तबाही मचा दी।

यानी मंगोल किसी पर धार्मिक भावनाओं को मुख्य रख कर नहीं, बल्कि इक विशाल लूट को मुख्य रखते हुए आक्रमण करते थे। इन्हें आप मेगा-लुटेरे कह सकते हैं, जो घरों को नहीं, बल्कि पूरे के पूरे शहरों और राज्यों को लूटा करते थे, जैसे की आज के कुछ मल्टी नेशनलनल व्यपारी।

विजय माल्या नवयुग के मंगोलों की एक अच्छी उदाहरण है, जो 9000 करोड़ ₹ की लूट कर के लन्दन में बैठा है, जब की भारत सरकार हाथ पे हाथ धरे बैठी है। अडानी अम्बानी भी आज के मंगोल हैं, जो लाखों करोड़ों रूपये का लोन ले कर सरकार द्वारा माफ़ करवा लेते हैं।

चलिये बात को फ़िर मंगोलों की तरफ़ ले जाएँ।

चगेज़ खान के मंगोल ख़ानेह-खानाह बनने के बाद मंगोलों ने बड़े स्तर पे अपनी जंगी करवाई बढ़ा दी।

मंगोलों की नीती स्पष्ट थी, वह किसी भी राज्य पे हमला करने से पहले उसे घेर लेते, और एक भारी हरजानां माँगते। इस हरजानें में शामिल होते, फ़ौज में भर्ती करने के लिए सेहतमंद युवा, हरम के लिए खूबसूरत स्त्रियां, हीरे मोती, सोना चांदी, हथियार, बर्तन, बहुत सा धन व घोड़े। यदि कोई शाशक यह सब पेश कर देता, तो मंगोल अगली मंजिल का रुख करते, अन्यथा उस शहर या राज्य का नामों निशान ही मिटा देते।

हालां की चंगेज़ खान के बाद मंगोलों ने अपने दहशत शुदा इलाक़ों पे अपना अपना सम्राज्य भी कायम किया,  और फिर केवल लूट नहीँ, बल्की अपने सम्राज्य की स्थापना भी शुरू कर दी।

चगेज़ ख़ान के बाद उस के पुत्रों और पौत्रों तक पहुंचते पहुंचते,  साल 1227  तक मंगोल सम्राज्य विश्व का सब से बड़ा सम्राज्य बन चुका था। यह रूस और चीन से ले कर  अरब सागर तक, यानी इराक़, मध्य एशिया, सीरिया, अफगानिस्तान, कश्मीर, और उधर पूर्वी यूरोप, यानि तुर्की , हंगरी, तथा पोलैंड तक फैल चुका था।

चंगेज़ की मृत्यु के बाद मंगोल सम्राज्य चार हिस्सों में विभजित हुआ, और यहां से शुरू हुआ चार अलग मंगोल वंशों का इतिहास।

चीन पर युआन मंगोल वंश का वह राज्यवँश स्थापित हुआ, जिस वंश में आगे चंगेज़ के पौत्र कुबला ख़ान का नाम मशहूर हुआ।

  रूस पे सुनहरे मंगोलों का, यानि चंगेज़ के ही पौत्र बाटू, या भाँतु ख़ान का सम्राज्य कायम हुआ।

मध्य एशिया और उज़्बेकिस्तान के इलाकों पर चुगताई वंश, यानि चुगताई ख़ान का राज्य स्थापित हुआ और पूर्वी यूरोप और अन्य यूरेशिआई इलाक़ों पर ह्लागु/हल्लागु या हलाकू ख़ान का राज्य स्थापित हुआ।

ह्लागु खान ही को, भारत में, हलाकू के नाम से जाना गया, जिस ने भारत पर कई हमले किये।

जलालुदीन ख़िलजी को हलाकू ने शर्मनाक हार दिखाई लेकिन उस के बाद अल्लाउदीन ख़िलजी ने हलाकू की और चुग़ताई मंगोल सेनाओं को एक बार नहीं, बल्कि बारमबार, छह बार नाकों चने चबवाये, हालां की खिल्जियों और मंगोलों की जंग में अलाउदीन का महान कप्तान, जनरल जफ़र ख़ान शहीद भी हुआ।

कुल मिला कर कहें तो सन् 1200  से ले कर चौदवीं  सदी के अंत तक यूरेशिया पर मंगोलों का बर्चस्व कायम रहा।

मंगोल विश्व के सब से बड़े सामूहिक कातिलों में से एक रहे हैं।  चगेज़ ख़ान के फारस के हमले के दौरान उर्घेच में 10 लाख, माँर्व में सात लाख, निशापुर में दस लाख सत्तर हज़ार, रे नामक शहर में पांच लाख लोगों को कत्ल कर दिया गया। 

हलाकू ख़ान के अपने इतिहास कारों के अनुसार उस ने दो लाख से ज्यादा आम शहरियों का कत्ल किया, और इस ख़ान नेँ अकेले ही इस्लामी सभ्यता को जड़ से उखाड़ डाला।  इतिहासकारों की माने  तो जो भी मंगोलों की तलवार के सामने आया, कत्ल कर दिया गया।

उधर सुनहरे मंगोल वँश के ख़ान, बट्टू ख़ान ने 1238 से 1240 तक रूस में ऐसी तबाही मचाई की रूसी सभ्यता कम से कम 300 साल पिछड़ गई। उस ने कीव और रीज़ान जैसे शहरों के सभी नागरिकोँ को मार डाला, और तक़रीबन अपने 200 साल के राज्य मैं रूस की किसानी और हस्तशिल्प उद्योग को बर्बाद कर के रूस कोे काले युग में धकेल दिया।

इधर ह्लागु ख़ान या हलाकू ने और चुगताई मुग़ल  वँश के दुवा खान ने भारत पर कई बार हल्ला बोला। जलालुदीन ख़िलजी को हलाकू नेँ शर्मनाक हार दी, उस की औरतों और खज़ाने को लूटा, लेकिन उपरांत अल्लाउदीन ख़िलजी से हलाकू की फौजें और चुगताई मुग़लों की फौजें, हर बार मार खा कर ही लौटीं।

कुल मिला कर अल्लाउदीन ख़िलजी के चलते मंगोल भारत पे अपना सम्राज्य नहीं स्थापित कर सके, लेकिन बाद में बाबर ने लोधी शाशकों द्वार शाषित दिल्ली पे कब्ज़ा कर लिया, और इस तरहं भारत में, मुग़ल वँश की नीव डली, जो  मंगोलों के वंशज ही थे।

मंगोल अपने समय के सुपर पॉवर थे, भारत पर उन्हों ने कई आक्रमण किये, जो सुल्तान अल्लाउदीन ख़िलजी ने विफ़ल कर डाले।

निश्चित ही यह सभी इतिहासकार मानते हैं की मंगोल अपने समय के सब से विधवंसक आक्रमणकर्ता थे  जिन्हें मौत और विनाश की भारी भरकम मशीन कहना गलत न होगा।

हिन्दोस्तान की लाखों साल पुरानी सभ्यता को मंगोलों के कहर से बचाने का काम  ख़िलजी ने किया, जिस ने मंगोलों को हर बार एक ज़बरदस्त टक्कर दी और जंग के मैदान में नाकों चने चबवाये।

अल्लाउदीन ख़िलजी अपने समय का एक अत्यंत बेहतरीन फ़ौजी कमांडर था, जिस ने एक अत्ती उत्तम किस्म की प्रिशिक्षित व अनुशाषित फ़ौज की व्यवस्था और सञ्चालन किया। फ़ौजी इतिहासकारों की नज़र में मंगोल अतयन्त ह्रदय विहीन लुटेरे थे जब की ख़िलजी एक अव्व्ल दर्जे का योद्धा व् सेनापती।

Alauddin Khilji @ ✒Guru Balwant Gurunay⚔

Alauddin Khilji is all over the news, social network discussion,  mudslinging sites  and intellectual discussions, in wake of a controversy fulcrumed around  Bollywood film, 'Padmavati'. 

The film revolves around Khilji's conquest of Chittor in 1303, woven around his supposed obsession with Rani Padmini of Chittor,  based upon a poem of questionable authenticity.

Most of the people involved, in mudslinging of Khilji and politically motivated protests, have neither seen the film nor have they got any substantial knowledge of history.

What ever the truth, but Khilji is back from his grave, once again raising a storm of debates around him. A new found interest in this harshly ruthless king, but a genius of a military strategist and an extremely courageous general has once again brought him alive, and let me verily say, that just like Caeser'ghost haunted Rome, Khilji's ghost too is haunting the Indian subcontinent.

Let me bring to the notice of my friends and others who may be interested, the truth of Alauddin Khilji, one of world's sharpest and extremely courageous military geniuses.

Sultan Jalaluddin Khilji, Alaaudin's uncle, ruled over India before being killed by Alaaudin, in a coup and a sultanate takeover. The reason of Jalaluddin Khilji, being murdered by Allaudin Khilji, in the first place were the Mongols. Jalaluldin had averted war with the Mongols in a previous attack by agreeing to humiliating demands from them. This infuriated Alluding Khilji, as a result of which, he killed his uncle, the emperor of Delhi, and tookover the empire,  determined to fight the Mongols to the end. Alaaudin ruled Hindostan from from 1296  to 1316. Also it is worth pointing out here that  Khilji was not a foreign invader born in Afghanistan, as claimed by some, but an Indian  born in Delhi in 1266 AD

The most important contribution of Khilji towards India is his having defeated the mighty Mongols. Khilji fought back, not one or two, but six Mongol attacks on India, which if not  stalled, would have resulted in an absolute annihilation of Indian culture, economy and religion.

Mongols repeatedly invaded India in Khilji's time, and Khilji managed to defeat the Mongols not once, but each and every time.

What is special about Khilji having defeated Mongols?

Well, we must not forget that  Mongols were the most ruthless warriors of their times, who would totally annihilate a country they attacked, leaving not even a trace of the civilization in their targeted areas,  taking with them, any thing and everything of value, including able bodied men, beautiful young women, horses, precious stones and precious metals, weapons, utensils and even cattle, cats and dogs that they fancied. Rest every thing they killed or set ablaze, ensuring that no one could even seek revenge for a century, atleast.

That is why, the Mongols were referred to as  'Scourge of God' and feared as much as plague by people and kings alike.

Had the Mongols not been stopped by Alauddin Khilji,  all knowledge and culture, that had  accumulated here over centuries would have been destroyed.

As an example When Halaagu Khan,  conquered  Baghdad in 1258, he destroyed all libraries, schools, places of worship, agricultural lands, granaries, palaces and even home and hearth of commoners of the empire. 

The rivers Euphrates and Tigris turned black with ink and blood. Halaagu Khan Mongol single-handedly ended the Golden Age of Islam by his conquest of Abbasian Empire . The Mongol invasion of Russia  is another example, as it set Russia back by 200 years in its development.

Khilji defeated the Mongols, for the first time, his army led by  his brother Ulagh Khan and one of his best captains, General Jaffar Khan in1298,  inflicting up on Mongols a toll of 20,000 casualties.

In 1299, a Mongol invasion of India, was again defeated by Khilji's forces in Sindh, led again  by his trusted captain, General Zaffar Khan. 

In 1303, 1305 and 1306, Khilji himself  lead the army along with his trusted generals against the Mongols, and defeated them, this being an unprecedented military feat in those days,  the Mongols being an unstoppable force.

As already mentioned, no one in the rest of the world, including the Russians and mighty Persians or even Baghdad Caliphate  could stand against the dreaded Mongols.

All well read military historians know that  Khilji's armies were some of the most disciplined and well-trained armies of the then world, and Khilji him self was an unprecedented military genius.

On Reading and Understanding History, a Short Take... by 🕯GBG📚

© History is loaded with useless  books  written by, paid, prejudiced and sometimes crazy people.

Thus history unless most critically studied can never be a reliable and objective account of the past, as subjective judgement and opinion are by default embedded in it.

My effort as a teacher and a student, has always  been to make stuff as concise and precise as possible, for ease of understanding, so what do I suggest in terms of understanding history.

I suggest, the first thing you do is to  get hold of a book called,  'The Hedgehog and the Fox: An Essay on Tolstoy's View of History', by Isaiah Berlin.

Berlin has explained in this book Leo Tolstoy's approach to history, which I fully endorse. He explains that Tolstoy was driven by a  desire to penetrate up to the original causes, to be able to understand how and why, things happened as they did,  and not otherwise.

 If we are to learn from the past, the account of it,  has to be true, or our understanding of it, won't be true aswell. IF this approach is not followed,  you might be preparing for a wrong battle, a battle of which, the map that you have, may not be representing  reality.

Most of the people do not understand that having a map.of a terrain is different than reality, and thus a recce of the terrain is a must.

Similarly any history book is only a map of a terrain, as it was in past, and has certainly changed as on today, as have the circumstances that triggered the historical events.

So a study of all possible maps, and all possible direct or indirect information,  and a recce of historical terrain via minds of great scholars, as to how they precieve truth to be, is  of paramount importance to study of history, and even then, one may wisely chose to remain sceptical.

 People with some reading of vague historical accounts, and some hearsay knowledge, will only enter the  terrain of truth, to find deserts where the mountains have been reported to be.

This “problem of historical truth” is explored by Isaiah Berlin in The Hedgehog and the Fox: An Essay on Tolstoy's View of History. He explains Tolstoy's  “desire to penetrate to first causes, to understand how and why things happen as they do and not otherwise.”

Thus not only in terms of history, but in all enquiries human, we must follow the Tolstoyian method of approaching the truth.

As per Tolstoy, “ History is Nothing but a collection of fables and useless trifles. History does not reveal causes; it presents only a blank succession of unexplained events.

Thus study of any historical event  is a waste of time, other than for trivia games or pub quizzes,  if you do not understand as to why it happened in the first place.

Right to Elementry Education .... Balwant Gurunay

The decision by parliment to ensure elementry education to all children all across India is a revolutionary move. The true impact of this law will only be felt, after some time. It is a great step forward in nation building. The challange though is the true enforcement of this law. With many stakeholders like the child, his immediate friends and neighbourhood, the teachers, the school management, the parents, the local govermant , the state and the center goverments and the countrymen at large, the legal enforcement is a challange. This decision of the parliament needs to be complimented with very agressive public relation campaigns. These campaigns must be carried out by the goverment's public relation departments and NGO's so as to create awareness about the right to education amongst all classes of society. The P.R. responsibility is to motivate and educate all stakeholders so as to -
1. Prepare all stakeholders to be willing contributors in this Yajna.
2. Make sure that the under privileged are aware of their right to 25 % qouta in all schools , including the so called elite or the ordinary ones.
3. Not sparing school managements for violating this law by meteing out exemplary penalities and punishments.
4. Not spare any goverment official who indulges in corrupt practices and lets this law be abused after having his palms greased by violators.
5. Hold parents, teachers or management criminally accountable if any of them discourage or snub a child and deny him this fundamental right.

Honourable Minister Mr Kapil Sibal needs a special mention as he has taken keen interest in this bill and without his and his teams efforts this bill may not have been passed at all . This goes to proove his farsightedness and vision. Congratulations and many thanks to you Sir. A big thanks is also due to both the ruling and opposition parties for making this come true. if our nation can pass a few more of such bills, thereby doing some substantive nation building, the country is bound to progress by leaps and bounds. I only have one contention. Why this bill should be implimented for class one only. It should be mendatory in 2011 not only in the first class but also in the so called kindergarten level. Congratulations Mr Minister Sir. We are proud of you.
