🚩Can India and Pakistan Open Kartarpur Corridor and plan Proxy war and Surgical Strikes, all together and at the same time.🚩 @✒GBG⚔

1.  The phrase 'Surgical Strike', has  once again  captured the media's imagination, courtesy Lt Gen DS Hooda (retd), Ex, Northern Army Commander, who was  at the helm of command, of northern Indian army in September 2016, when the SS struck the Indian mindset like a bolt, and our ruling politicians seemed over busy, seeking credit for a military operation, which is and should be a routine AAWRA (As And When Required Act)  operation,  for  a country like us, kept  engaged by it's neighbour via proxy war.

2.  On the other hand, Punjab's dynamic but chameleon politician, Mr. Googly Sidhu, who has successfully been maneuvering through the merky Indian political world,  raised a storm by not just hugging COAS of ISP, Gen. Bajwa on his  last to last Pak visit, but also became a victim of unwarranted  criticism of his opposing politicians and pseudo nationalists, for being praised by Prime minister of ISP, during the 'KARTARPUR corridor', function.

3.  Now, two things need being registered well, before we delve further on the subject.

4.  One, that Kartarpur corridor is nothing new. Successive governments  of  our two countries have been engaged in dialogue and discussions on creation of a 'Peace Corridor', joining both Pakistani and Indian Punjab to facillitate sikh and non sikh pilgrims to visit Guru Nanak's  Gurudwara at Kartarpur,  for more than a period of a decade plus now.

5.  Although one or the other political outfit or leader has been stalling the movement forward on this issue, by throwing in this or that spanner, but some how the idea sustained it self. So Kartarpur Corridor is nothing but a renamed 'Peace Corridor.'

6.  Although Indians were always in favour of this move , but  Imran Khan is the first ISP Prime minister to move forward on it with conviction. The reasons can be debated, ranging from winning over the Sikhs and distancing them from their popularly precieved Indian identity, to creating a huge trading and tourism opportunity for people of both Punjabs. Real Motives will only show up with time.

7.  Second thing worthy of being registered is what exactly Gen. Hooda had to say about Surgical Strikes. The experienced and a very matured general said, “The military leadership must guard against becoming a tool in the hands of politicians. We can’t take military action to suit someone politically.”  He further added that although the  action (SS) needed publicity to boost soldier's morale, but the excess hype and political one-upmanship around it was uncalled for.

8.  So the question that arises is, that on one hand, both our governments want a 'Peace Corridor', and on the other hand our politicians continue to drum hate and fear amongst our masses, by talking revenge, and taking unnecessary credit for military actions.

9.  So, is it right to breath both war and  peace in the same breath?  In my honest opinion, yes, there is nothing wrong in it. The process must continue, as the present set of extremly complex circumstances betwen the two neighbours, very much warrant a shake-hand with boxing gloves on, but also at the same time for recieving the trophies of both, diplomacy and military wins or losses, our stupid politicians must avoid rushing to the podium.  They should rather let the generals or diplomats alone recieve the honours. 

10.  Some folks try and give credit to this or that government for giving a freehand to army. This kind of opinion results from an absolute innocense or lack of real place knowledge. They simply prove that they have no idea of what Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958 (AFSPA) stands for.

11.  So remember one thing, that there is nothing known as a government giving a freehand to army.   In truth there is nothing known as a  'Free Hand'. Only possible way for a government is to create some laws, and laws like AFSPA are not the creation of a political party called BJP, or a political leader named Mr. Modi. AFSPA is the creation of Indian State policy, and not some politician. Any politician drawing cheap popularity out of  it's results can only be dubbed as a cheap political juggler, rather than a statesman.

13.  Let us remember one thing, for once and for all, that if the business of a state needs being conducted, it has to  bloodywell be conducted. Whether it is conducted via its civil or military departments is  absolutely a different matter. Period. A sate can  enact, amend or abolish laws to further it's root policies.

14.  Specially in case of military ops, no politician should act, as if he is the one who is leading the ops, or controlling them, as it never happens like that. For a politician to publicize him self as the 'Knight in Shining Armour,' is never done, and is politically incorrect. Politicians neither lead ops, nor do they lead strategic decision making. All strategic decision making is  done at top bureaucratic levels alone, with inputs from different concerned intelligence agencies, and   operationally its the top brass of a concerned force,  that decides,  the 'Larger Where and When,' whereas the details of 'minor where, when and how' is left to the the , General on field  and his team, deployed in the  operational area.

15. Modi  claiming credit for surgical strikes,  was a political  faux-pas. In any case, all such ops are to be kept in wraps to give a fair chance to peace and diplomacy, as diplomacy and all such military strikes go side by side.  बेवजह की हीरोपंथी,  अभिनेता करे तो चलता है, लेकिन नेता करे तो जँचती नहीं।

16. So Modi or no.Modi, the business of state must continue, and initiatives for peace as well as the military ops where necessary must progress for the benifit of state, in all circumstances.

1. To begin with, we must register that Gopal Singh Chawla is not an Indian, thus not bound by any loyalty for our nation, that is India. 

2.  Most of the people misunderstand that every sikh is an Indian, thus they feel hurt by anti Indian things said by some sikhs who are by birth, Afghans, Pakistanis, Canadians or American.  Loyalty to a country means being true to a  particular geographical or/and constitutional entity, no matter which government, ideology or political party  controls it.

3.  Let's try and understand this in a little more detail. Only Indian Sikhs are Indians,  and not all Sikhs are Indians,  thus only  indian Sikhs are expected to be and should be loyal to India. So what a non-Indian sikh does,  or says is his business, and we should not give undue  importance to his statements.

4. Now, the man in question, Gopal Singh Chawala is a pakistani born Pakistani citizen, who happenes to be a sikh and is also the General Secretary of PGPC, (Pakistan Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee). 

5.  He was an executive member of the organising committee, which organised the function of Kartarpur Corridor. He was amongst those who organised the stay and food of visitors and dignitaries, and was even a member of welcome commitee, so his having sneaked in to a photo-frame with Sidhu is quite coincidental.

6.  Sidhu can not be blamed for chawla succeeding in getting into a picture with him.   Sidhu's body language however speaks volumes about the fact, that Sidhu does not share any mental space with Chawla.

7.  Let me remind you once again that Chawla is a Pakistani born citizen, and not an Indian citizen, so his politics, political stance, his statements etc will naturally be pro-pakistan, aswellas anti-India.

8.  His friendship with any fundamentist or liberal Islamist of Pakistan, should be none of our concerns. He will  naturally toe the line that will make him popular amongst his nation's establishment, that is the Pakistani establishment and his fellow Pakistani sikhs.

9.  Some country men are foolishly talking of Chawla as a sepratist. Only fools will expect a sikh born in Pakistan and active in Pakistani politics to give pro-India statements. It is as foolish as expecting Yogi ji or any Hindutva politician to give  pro-Pakistan statements.

10.  In light of the above facts, let us cut all crap, and focus on facts. If any pakistani Sikh, gives any pro-pakistan or pro-khalistan statement, it is foolish for us to make a hue and cry about it. Let us not forget that,  firstly  Khalistan is very much on the agenda of ISI, and secondly, that it is foolish for us to expect pro-Indian stance from Pakistani Sikhs. G.S. Chawla and his Pakistani sikh  community are Pakistanis first and foremost, just like we in India are Indians first and foremost. बेवजह का शोर मत मचाओ, सत्य को जानो और अपने अपने काम पर लगो।

🚩करतारपुर कॉरिडोर तथा इमरान और सिधू के इर्द गिर्द की जा रही निम्न-स्तरीय राजनीती🚩 @ ✒GBG⚔

1.  इमरान ख़ान ने करतारपुर में एक सार्थक स्पीच दी, और भारत के साथ मैत्री करने की, सम्बन्ध सुधारने की बात कही। ख़ान इमरान ने व्यपारिक और सभ्याचारिक रिश्ते स्थापित करने की बात भी, जोर दे कर कही। यह सभी कुछ सराहनीय है।

2.  इमरान ने स्पष्ट शब्दों में भारत के साथ जंग और टकराव की पॉलिसी से इन्कार करने की इच्छा जताई। ख़ान ने स्पष्ट शब्दों में कहा  कि  दो ऐटमी ताकतें, जंग करने जैसी आत्मघाती पॉलिसी नहीं अपना सकते। ऐसी जंग में किसी की भी जीत या हार नहीं हो सकती, केवल दोनों मुल्कों की सम्पूर्ण बर्बादी सम्भव है, जो कोई नहीँ चाहता।

3.  इमरान ने नवजोत सिधू का नाम लिया, जो केवल दोस्ती का सबब था, किसी राजनीती का नहीं। लेकिन उस के बाद नवजोत सिधू पे किये जा रहे तमाम राजनैतिक हमले, हर तरहं से गलत हैं। नवजोत किसी के घर बिन बुलाये नहीं पहुंचे,  उन्हें बकायदा बुलाया गया, और वह भारतीय विदेश मंत्री सुश्री सुषमा स्वराज जी से मिलने के उपरांत ही पाकिस्तान रवाना हुए।

4.  अब कुछ मित्र, जान बूझ कर या अज्ञान वश इमरान खान और सिधू पर न केवल घटिया छींटा-कशी कर रहे हैं, बल्कि उन्हें आतंकवाद के साथी तक भी बता रहे हैं। यह अत्यंत दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है, और किसी नेक नियति से किये गये काम पे कालिख पोतने जैसा है, अन्यथा कुछ नहीं।

5.   सिधू पर सब से ज्यादा हल्ला कांग्रेसी मित्रों द्वारा बोला जा रहा है, प्रतिद्वन्धी ऐसा करें ती जाहिर है। मेरे विचार में ऐसे में सिधू को पंजाब में एक स्वतन्त्र राजनैतिक पार्टी का एलान कर देना चाहिए।  इस का नाम PJP रखा जा सकता है, यानी पंजाब जन्ता पार्टी।

6. जहां तक मुद्दा आतंकवाद का है, वह चाहे विश्व में कहीं भी हो, आतँकवाद कभी भी, कहीं भी, न तो एक दिन में शुरू होता है, और न ही एक दिन में खत्म होता है। वैसे भी 90% आतँकवाद किसी क्रांती कारी सोच से प्रेरित न हो कर, केवल राजनीती से प्रेरित होता है।  अब जब करतारपुर कारीडोर की बात चली है, जो एक दिन अवश्य किसी बड़ी शांति प्रक्रिया  का सबब बन सकती है, तो इस के पहियों में आतंकवाद जैसे मुद्दों की कीलें ठोकना सार्थक नहीं है।

7.  सिधू या इमरान पर राजनितिक कीचड़ उछालने की जगह, जो  कुछ कदम ठीक दिशा में बढ़े हैं, उन्हें सराहना चाहिए।  बाकी  आगे देखते  हैं, पाकिस्तान की ISI का ऊँठ किस करवट बैठता है, फ़िल हाल तो तेल देखो, तेल की धार देखो।

8. जहां तक इमरान ख़ान की बात है, तो  कम से कम बन्दा खित्ते में जंग न करने की, शाँति की स्थापना करने की,  व्यपार बढ़ाने की और कल्चरल व सभ्याचारिक साँझ को बढ़ाने की बात तो अवश्य कर रहा है ।   यह सब करने के लिए, कुछ लोगों द्वारा इमरान और उस के मित्र सिधू को बेवजह कॉन्ट्रोवर्सी में घसीटना, बिलकुल अनर्थक है। कोई भी भोंडी प्रतिक्रिया देने से पहले,  हमें भावी डेवेलपमेंटस का इन्तज़ार करना चाहिए। Lets see what happens !

9.  हम सभी को याद रखना चाहिए की, दोनों देशो में यदी रिश्ते सुधारने के चाहवान लोग मौजूद हैं, तो केवल नफ़रत की आग जला कर, उस पे अपनी राजनैतिक रोटियां सेकने वालों की भी कोई कमी नहीं है। न जाने कब,  कैसे, कौन सा राजनेता, सब किये कराये पर पानी फेर दे।

10.   जो हाल केवल राजनितिक कारणों से सिधू का किया जा रहा है, ऐसे हालातों में तो किसी भी सार्थक दिशा में बात बनती नज़र नहीं आ रही। कोई शक़ नहीं की राजनीती बहुत निम्न स्तर तक गिर चुकी है। मेरा अनुरोध है की  देश और पंजाब की जन्ता को विचारशीलता से काम लेना चाहिए।

🚩Paramjit Singh Sarana, ex Chief of Delhi Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee, being an eye-witness to the complete Kartapur Corridor event, upholds the truth and gives a clean chit to Sidhu.🚩@GBG

Ex Chief  of Delhi Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee, Sirdar Paramjit Singh Sarana, was present throughout the Kartapur event. On his return to India, he being an eyewitnes to the comolete Kartapur Corridor event, has given an interview to media, and these are the facts he shared.  He has boldly upheld the truth, as he  gives a clean chit to Sidhu over photograph with Separatist  Chawla . These are some important facts he shared.

1.  Kartapur corridor affair is not new. For almost 15 years now, many Nankana fans have been pursuing this matter with the governments from different political outfits ruling the Indian and Pakistani states.

2. Sarna said  that this fresh bold step forward, in the present time and space is certainly the result of an impetus given to the issue by Imran Khan and his friend Navjot Singh Sidhu. He found every thing in the Imran's speech proper, and specially mentioned, that  we should not find any thing wrong with Imran repeatedly praising Sidhu for his efforts. Imran's repeated compliments showered on  Sidhu were but natural, as both cricketers turned politicians are good friends. Their friendship thus, is undoubtedly  responsible for giving a new push and energy to the issue.

3. He said that,  undoubtedly nothing could have, or can move forward in future,  without our  Prime minister Modi's,  nod.

4. Sarana talked of the event as a new peace initiative by both neighbours.  He hoped that this step forward towards peace would help establish better relations. Although Indo-Pak relations have not been at their best, but this initiative could move things in a better direction. He mentioned that all issues can be settled by following Nanak's method of  finding space for mutual dialogue. He echoed Imrans Khan's worlds as he gave  the example of European nations, which inspite of having a history of going at war against each other,  live in a friendly European union today.

5. As per Sarna, Imran Khan has taken a step forward, Navjot has worked hard for making the corridor a 'positive step forward', and he portrayed confidence that Mr. Modi and his government will certainly give a new momentum to the initiative.

6.  On the issue of Gopal Singh Chawla's photograph with Sidhu and another gentleman, being splurged on media and social media, Sarna testified that it is nothing but negative propaganda.  Sarna said that he was an eyewitness to the whole affair, and that he can vouch for the fact that Sidhu tried his best to avoid Chawla. Inspite of Sidhu's best efforts, Chawla sneaked in to a frame where Sidhu was being photographed with another man. Sidhu leaning away from Chawla is a clear sign of the fact that he was not at all happy about Chawla being in the frame.

7. On Madam Harsimrat Badal's reaching the venue, Sarna said that she should have avoided going there, after having spewed loads of venom against Sidhu, even calling him a Pak agent. If she was so much against Sidhu being hugged by some politicians and generals of Pakistan, what was she doing at the corridor's inaugral function ? After her harsh attacks on Sidhu, and Pakistan,  Madam Harsimrat, it seems has done nothing more than running with the rabbits and hunting with the hounds, or in Sarna's words, the minister just ended up licking what she had spewed.

8.  Summing it up, Sarna was an eyewitness to the whole event, and he strongly maintains that Sidhu did nothing to embarrass the nation. He is in fact being hounded on flimsy grounds, of some unwanted fellow stepping in to a photo frame.
