🚩 Murder of 'Whistle Blowers', the real “Chowkidars" of the nation.🚩@ ✒GBG⚔

1.   More than 40 whistle blowers,  the real “Chowkidars" of society,  have been killed  in India, in the last five years. 68 RTI activists have been killed since 2005, while 6 have committed suicide. Out of these, 55% in just last 5 years is an alarming figure.

2.  What was the reason for them  being killed ?  Well,  it was solely  them,  having exposed the wrong doings of those in power. As per private detective intelligence and journalistic investigations,  they were all murdered/assassinated/ eliminated for raising questions  about corruption and governance.

3. INTERESTINGLY 'The Whistle Blowers Protection Act', which was supposedely passed to  protect such activists, remains unimplemented.  WBP Act was passed by parliament on  21, 02 2014, with an aim of providing   identity and physical protection to whistleblowers, but it has ever since been stalled in the parliament.

4. NCPRI, ' National Campaign for People's Right to Information' has observed that,  instead of implementing  the WBP act,  the incumbent  government has in fact brought in amendments  providing for punishing RTI users under the 'Official Secrets Act'. WTF.

5. In simple words, it means  the state, is in an overdrive mode,  to establish absolute state control over the people.  This friends, is an extremely negative development, and must be watched carefully by all patriots.
