🚩Where does the Guru reside in SGGS❓ Guru is the book, or the words printed therein, or resides in 'Meaning & Wisdom' carried in those words ⁉ Let's resolve the issue once and for all. 🚩@✒GBG⚔🙏

1. ' Guru- bani '  is the vehicle for wisdom taught in SGGS. The wisdom is carried via written words, the words being the carrier of meaning, as in any other book, like gita, koran or the rest.

2. Book is the vehicle for keeping the printed 'Guru- bani' and 'Wisdom' carried via its words,  sequentially bound and safe.

3.  The real Guru is not the book ,but the meaning and the wisdom, that the words printed or handwritten in it carry.

4.   All this has been thus arranged, so that, if some one was ever to tear apart or desecrate the book, the wisdom shall stay. Once  the wisdom has been coded in words, even if every word on it's pages was to be washed away, the wisdom would not be destroyed. It continues in the exact same form in another book form, aswellas in the minds of those who have imbibed the word and its meaning  in their hearts.

5.  One may succeed in destroying the book, but the wisdom can neither be erased, nor burnt, nor torn apart,  so it is the wisdom that is the Guru.

6. Such a Guru, who is now incarnated in 'Words of Wisdom' per say, is beyond desecration, beyond destruction,  and beyond injury or death.

7.  Why are we wasting time, then turning SGGS in to a ' temple god' as we prostrate in front of it, or sing arti, or do ardas etc.

8.  The real worship of SGGS ji, or the real respect to SGGS ji  is only possible, if one reads the word, understands the essential wisdom, and practically imbibes it in one's life.

9.  All other karam-kand is pure drama, an imitation of  ritualistic worship of any other idol, in any other temple.  Period.

  1. Rituals are important part of any religion. Problem is when majority of followers refuse to go deeper. That would be something like repeating KG for 25 yrs instead of clearing Ph D. Unfortunately since rituals are easy compared to understanding & implementing crux, devotees quite satisfied. It doesn't lead to spiritual enlightenment but many don't care. Problem with old. Sikhism bring youngest religion is witnessing ills creeping in.
