🚩What's wrong with Quran, and why I don't consider any book to be a holy book.🚩🔱 ✒GBG⚔

 1.  Let me verily say, right in the beginning that, there are no holy books, any  where on this earth.  Any and all books of all religions are, books dealing with social norms, ethics, morality, or even laws, or else they could be pure compilations of contemplations, or some prayers, or philosophy, written as prose  or poetry, but there is certainly  nothing holy or divine about them.

2.  They are just books connected with particular religions, revered by a particular set of people, either because they truly like and understand what these books  contain, in part  or as a whole, or just that these people have been conditioned from their birth to look at these books as holy or divine.  Period.

3.   It becomes important to mention here that Complete works of Shakespeare, Diwan-E-Ghalib, or A poetry book of Shiv Batalvi could be as much loved by it's readers, knowing fully well what the book is about,   whereas a religious book is revered by religious people without even fully knowing or reading it's contents.

4.  The trigger for this writing of mine is that of late, I have realized through newspapers and other electronic media, aswellas social media, that people have been killing each other, over this or that holy book.

5.  The so called holy books have become an instrument of creating public unrest in hands of politicians. The politicians also use these books as an instrument of deceit,  by swearing on these books and making false promises, to gullible religious followers, and exploit their sentiments.

6.   Another worrisome  dimension of having irrational, and illogical blind faith in these books is, that so many of so-called religious people, are conditioned in to regarding these books as if they are the last written word on Earth.

7.  In the recent Delhi riots,  I read a young boy held on to a copy of Quran, as his hearth and home were burnt, as if it would divinely save  him, his family and home. Rioters then, took that  book from him and threw it in fire.  When journalists later asked this kid as to what was the loss he most felt, his answer was Quran. This kind of irrational belief in any thing, person, book, or a deity, is the root cause of all unclear thoughts, false beliefs, illusionary reality, resulting in intolerance, fundamentalism and untrue hope.

8.   I would only like to tell the young boy, and other public across all religions, faiths or sects,  that the biggest loss to him is the loss of his near and dear ones, and the greatest loss to his city is an absolute loss of inter-communal trust, faith and brother hood.

9.  Religious books, any or all can be brought from the market, can be reprinted, but loved ones lost by us, can never be brought back. Lost social harmony, although  takes decades to rebuild.

10.  In light of the above I verily say, that there is nothing holy or divine about any religious book on earth, because if it were true, then any and all those who have been conditioned into believing that these books are holy, would neither have ever participated in rioting, nor they would have  been the victims.

11.   Getting back to Quran,  Muslims are conditioned from their  childhood to  believe that Quran is the word of God/Allah, sent down   via an  angel named Jabreel (Gabriel), who revealed it to Muhammad. Gabriel as we know is nothing more than a character from biblical mythology, borrowed by Mohammed from christian mythology.

12.  When we look at scientific analysis of the claims, of Quran being perfect and final words of God, the scientific analysis forces us to rethink, and as a result, the claims fall flat. Even if we believe Mohammed's version of the story, then Quran contains words of  an imaginary God, told to a supposed camelherd, by an imaginary angel, in a cave, where no one but Mohammed alone was a witness to this strange transference of information, it all looks like a  hallucination, or a cleverly spun fable.

13.   Quran has been criticized  for it's airy, holy, mysterious, otherwordly claims, and many other reasons. Many scholars and scientists, are naturally adverse to the Idea of any book claiming fame on grounds of it being divine,  or perfect, ordained so by it's own author.

14.  It being  unchangeable can only be interpreted as a dictatorial diktat by, one who felt insecure about it's  being not agreed to. These holy or clever claims are rather the biggest reasons for considering it a case of pure hoax and showmanship.

15.  The second reason to challenge the book as not truly perfect,  is that  many of the writings of Quran, are not  even  morally, ethically or judicially  sustainable, why say perfect.

16.   Undoubtedly the jurisprudence of Quran is, patriarchal, tribal and anti women. It somehow justifies humans selling and buying human slaves, treating women as commodities,  and advocates death to all those who refuse to believe in it,  or once having believed in it, have turned away from it.

17.   Ultimately it turned out to be nothing more than a tool of control and intimidation of innocent believers by  Mullahs, Qazis,  Sultans and politicians,  aswellas it became an instrument of discrimination and persecution to commit pogrom of people of other faiths and beliefs. It is just another violently sectarian   book, which advocates heartlessness, ruthlessness and revenge rather than compassion and kindness.

18.   In the end I will say with authority that there are no holy men,  there are no holy books, and there are no holy places. There of course are good books, good men  and good places. What is good for anyone, is a very individual and personal choice. No religion is required to find your truth and your goodness.

  1. After reading my article on Quran, a very dear friend asked, "Guru g ,then what's in Quran that makes even the educated Muslim's to follow it. Why don't they oppose it, why is that world over Islam is the fastest spreading religion?. Are all conversions being made forcefully or people are converting voluntarily too. I really am never able to understand that."

    My answer is ....

This is the power of a fast spreading virus.

When the ethnic and moral immunity of most of us is low because of poverty, pain and greed for quick satiation, the virus spreads faster.

We all believe that the answer to all our uncertainties lies in a strong promise of certainty, where as true immunity lies in faith in Self, and not an unrealistic and unrealised God.

But most of us choose to have faith in false promises of hell or heaven, angels and devils, roads laid with gold and pearls, which all is despisebally laughable.

That's why people love promises more than real offers.

Islam is all about promises, so most of the fools buy it.

After all people voted for NaMo in hope of 15 lakhs, isn't it?

Islam is about a promise of 72 hoors ready to please you, a luxurious heaven laiden with roads carpeted with pearls and Rivers of wine...... which means many a billion $s plus.

That alone is the reason for it's spread.

People are ready to buy false promises rather than truth.

Mohammed was a smart guy. M for Modi, M for Mohammed.

Suppose I tell people, there is nothing to look forward to beyond now, although they know that it's true, but they won't like it.

Islam promises a world beyond this world, whereas Sanaatan Dharma has only truth to offer.

Our journey is harder, but it's still worth it. 💐

It is worth clarifying here that Sanaatan Dharam is not an organised religion, but an open life style, timeless, limitless and boundless, where Sanaatan means Eternal, and Dharma means Balance, Law, Hukam or Truth, thus Sanaatan Dharam simply means an eternally sustainable and balanced law based on universal truth, true beyond ego aswellas time.
