1. Why is Modi led, Amit shah driven Bhajpa set to win the assembly polls. [ Including Haryana, where opposition is badly divided aswell. ]
2. The reason is the new narrative of new India.
3. The planks on which the BJP narrative stands is:-
i). New Nationalism, now defined by a new definition of 'Us verses Them' where 'Us' is the ruling party and it's followers, and 'them' is everyone else, today also dubbed as India's enemies, outside or within.
ii). Communalism. This is an old and tested formula, applied by Congress and Almost all political parties. People have always been divided and opinionated on religious and communal grounds, for political advantage.
iii). Majoritarianism is the new mantra. Congress had never played the Hindu card as well as Bhajpa. The reason is that Congress and other parties had a strategy of keeping majority divided on many different lines, but Bhajpa unified the majority, although on shallow religious grounds, resulting in creation of a blindfold effect. Although the real architect of using Cow to harness religio-political sentiment was Vajpayee, the architect of Kamandal and Mandir was Advani, but the fruit of this tree was reaped by Rajnath Singh and coterie, using Modi as the tree shaking elephant.
iv). Then of course is the strategy of using Pakistan as an essential villain, and using it as a hell word, by telling all critics of establishment, to either fall in line or go to hell, aka Pakistan. This in fact is a strategy borrowed from Pakistan itself for application in New India.
4. As a part of the new political strategy, all Seculars have been dubbed as Sickulars, all Liberals have been dubbed as Libtards, all Urban Communists have been dubbed as Urban Naxals, and all historians, not towing the right wing line are now dubbed as Distorians (i.e. those who have distorted history).
5. Support pillars and tools for upholding this narrative are:-
i). Pliant media ( made so by carrot and stick formula).
ii). A headless and clueless Opposition, now being in shambles, with it's politicians defecting like rats jumping out of a sinking ship, and it's titans crashing in to jails or ED cases. Today, nearly no one is standing up for any alternative ideology, strong enough or strongly enough.
iii). Political funding, is so arranged that although, Indian economy may have slowed down, but the Bhajpa's funds have increased at speed of a Bullet Train. Party has huge amounts of money, and is not shy of using aswellas misusing it.
6. Other reasons which are coming as naturally favourable for Indian establishment are:-
i). Anti Muslim narrative is on the rise around the world.
ii). Right leaning is on rise around the world.
iii). Nationalism and 'otherisation' of minorities and immigrants are on the rise around the world. (Brexit, USA wall with Mexico etc.)
iv). 'De-globalisation' is on rise around the world. (Trump no longer wants to pump money into UN, and UK is leaving EU).
v). Asia is being seen as an economic superpower of future with developing economies and increased demographic dividend. This makes India a favoured market, courtesy its size.
7. WHAT are the 'Tactics' for establishing majoritarianism ? Well, they are:-
i). Renaming cities ( eg. Allahabad renamed as Pryagraj. Worth mentioning that the name was changed from Pryagraj to Allahabad by Akbar in 1575 when he decided to build a fort there.
ii). Massive hindu symbolism, eg. Writing 'Om' on Rafale etc.
8. This in short is the narrative that has made BJP win spectacular electoral victories, aswellas evade any blame, despite various economic and political debacles.
9. The opposition is in a position where it is neither able to fully emulate this narrative, nor counter it.
10. Thus my prediction is that BJP will win the election again, in Modi's name, inspite of the government failing on the economy, employment and healthy growth front.
