🚩Is Fake Democracy a curse for india ? 🚩 @✒GBG⚔

1. Democracy is generally of two types. Direct democracy or Representative Democracy.  In a direct democracy, the people of a community, region, or nation are granted absolute freedom to dictate the course of it's policy. In a functional Direct democracy, every major decision  made by the government is put up to the people for approval via voting, because the people are the government. Switzerland is the only truly functional direct democracy in the world.

2. In Representative Democracy, people first elect or select their representatives. The representatives then make policies for running the community/nation.  The quality of this democracy directly depends upon the quality of citizenry vis a vis their awareness and education, where as the quality of leaders depends upon their personal character, aswellas on the level to which they are made accountable by the system. America and India are examples, but the American system is a little more complex, and thus it has more checks and balances in place.

3.  In America  the President is chosen for 4 years.  Although, almost all eligible voters out of 34 crore citizens of America vote to chose their President, but the real choice is made by 538 electors of USA.   Its a  little complex system of Representation, although inspite of it all, it works well, and has resulted in America, under this system, emerging  and staying as a super power. This system although good,  could end in  some one as noble as Abraham Lincoln, as glamorous as Kennedy, or as Shrewd and Porky, as Trump, ending up as  the official leader of USA.

4. In India every citizen, how so ever aware or unaware, sellable or not sellable,  is eligible to vote, and chose many types of their representatives, ranging right from a panch (Village representatives), municipal councillor to  an MLA or an  MP. These MLAs  form the state government and MPs form the central government. It all seems simple and nice, but is politically complex, HIGHLY corruptible and manipulatable. People are neither aware of their rights nor duties.  Votes getting divided amongst manipulative leaders on caste or religious basis, for regional or shallow concerns is very common.  Luring voters with  petty bribes or false promises  is a common practice.

5.  All Indian politicians have got used to fooling public, and in every election  they touch a new low.  The  country is overall facing a hopeless situation, with truly no good option available to people.

6.  People are not aware of their rights or duties both. Although democracy is the most desirable form of government, Indian democracy is a curse being suffered by Indian people, in view that the people are sellable to lies and petty bribes, and have even elected criminals as people's representatives.

7.  Imagine the desperate situation, where election langars of liquor and potato fritters have become the norm of humoring a voter. On the character and किरदार of Indian  politicians,  one remembers the words of  Poet Hafiz Jallandhari, where he says metaphorically that these leaders are like wild animals, snakes, crocodiles and wolves,  feeding upon the gullibilty of an innumerable number of gullible sheep.
देश की आज़ादी की बातें सारी झूठी बातें हैं
मज़दूरों को मजबूरों को खा जाने की घातें हैं

शेरों को आज़ादी है आज़ादी के पाबंद रहें
जिसको चाहें चीरें फाड़ें खायें पियें आनंद रहें
शाहीं को आज़ादी है आज़ादी से परवाज़ करे
नन्‍ही मुन्‍नी चिडियों पर जब चाहे मश्‍क़े-नाज़ करे
सांपों को आज़ादी है हर बस्‍ते घर में बसने की
इनके सर में ज़हर भी है और आदत भी है डसने की 
पानी में आज़ादी है घड़ियालों और नहंगों को

इंसां ने भी शोखी सीखी वहशत के इन रंगों से

मास भी खायें खाल भी नोचें हरदम लागू जानों के
भेड़ें काटें दौरे-ग़ुलामी बल पर गल्‍लाबानों के.
इंसानों में सांप बहुत हैं क़ातिल भी ज़हरीले भी
इनसे बचना मुश्किल है, आज़ाद भी हैं फुर्तीले भी 
सांप तो बनना मुश्किल है इस ख़स्‍लत से माज़ूर हैं हम
मंतर जानने वालों की मुहताजी पर मजबूर हैं हम.
शाहीं भी हैं चिड़ियाँ भी हैं इंसानों की बस्‍ती में
वह नाज़ा अपनी रिफ़अत पर यह नालां अपनी पस्‍ती में
शाहीं को तादीब करो या चिड़ियों को शाहीन करो
यूं इस बाग़े-आलम में आज़ादी की तलक़ीन करो 
बहरे-जहां में ज़ाहिर-ओ-पिनहां इंसानी घड़ियाल भी हैं
तालिबे-जानओजिस्‍म भी हैं शैदाए-जान-ओ-माल भी हैं.
सरमाये का जि़क्र करो, मज़दूर की इनको फ़िक्र नहीं
मुख्‍तारी पर मरते हैं मजबूरों की  फ़िक्र नहीं
खा जाने का कौन सा गुर है जो इन सबको याद नहीं
जब तक इनको आज़ादी है कोई भी आज़ाद नहीं 
सारी आज़ादी की बातें सारी झूठी बातें हैं
मज़दूरों को मजबूरों को खा जाने की घातें हैं 
जब तक चोरों-राहज़नों का डर दुनिया पर ग़ालिब है 
पहले मुझसे बात करे जो आज़ादी का तालिब है.

9.  For true democracy to find root, India needs huge systemic changes, but the system is so corruption friendly, that whenever, even an honest  leader captures power,  he is bound to get corrupted, and get busy maintaining the system as it is,  rather than changing it.
