🚩Is Mr Modi capable of being a Chhota Sardar⁉@✒ GBG⚔

1.  Mr. Modi dedicated to unity of India, a statue made in mega proportions of a person of mega proportion, Sardar Patel, who still stands taller than  the tallest statue,  and is undoubtedly a great icon of united India.

2.  Congress on the other hand has rightly stated that Patel was a Congress Stalwart, who after the assassination of Mahatma, had ordered an absolute ban on  RSS, an organisation from which,  Mr. Modi started his political career as a pracharak.

3.  So what could be the aim of Mr. Modi in politically magnifying Sardar Patel ?

4.   Either it is to claim a precious  trophy from the enemy camp, or it is to  recast  him self in a new  'Nation builder'  image.

5.  By casting himself  in the cast of Sardar Patel, Modi Sahib has made an effort to make himself  rise above his basic fixed image of being an ex sanghi. In this I  find nothing wrong. Politically every one has the right to be reborn.

6.  Being reborn in politics, or politically re-casting one self is not  easy, but  going by the race for control of political space in India, Mr. Modi  might pull a double trick, and succeed in his aim, that is to marginalise his political opposition in congress, aswellas succeed in containing his critics and enemies in sangh, ultimately marginalising RSS and all other forces of extreme political positioning.

7.  To deserve to be called a Chhota Sardar, enacting Patel's statues alone won't do. 

8.  Although such steps are alright as far as preserving, building and creating national icons are concerned, but the nation as a whole seems to have out grown the era of symbols and slogans alone.

9.  For deserving what he desires, Mr. Modi shall have to tame the forces of national disintegration,  trying to position themselves as flag bearers of seprate nations, as well as those, who are dividing the nation by claiming a brighter patriotic space for themselves,  by using  pseudo nationalism to whip all or any opposition.

10.   Afterall,  this is what being a 'Sardar Patel' is all about. Any one desirous of being seen in his shadow shall have to now prove his worth via his actions, more than his words.
